A weblog for scholars to discuss research initiatives related to rebuilding New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina
I thought that a blog would be a great opportunity for scholars across the U.S. to exchange ideas about research related to the rebuilding of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. I am particularly interested in the state of public education for African-American students. Does anyone else share this interest?

I am a research analyst for the American Institutes for Research (AIR), where I work on two OSEP-funded projects, the National Center for Technology Innovation (www.nationaltechcenter.org) and the Center for Implementing Technology in Education (www.citeducation.org). Prior to working at AIR, I received a B.A. from Hampton University, teaching credentials from Eastern Michigan University, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in education from the University of Michigan.
